To significantly boost your workflow and creativity, Topol Plugin offers several AI-powered features that can do the work for you. These are:
AI Assistant (PRO documentation or Plugin documentation)
AI Chat (PRO documentation or Plugin documentation)
Template Translation (PRO documentation or Plugin documentation)
All these features are enabled by default for all Topol PRO users, and you do not need to perform any manual configuration. The following steps apply only to users of Topol Plugin.
If you are using the Topol Plugin, there is one essential configuration step you must complete before you can use any AI feature in the editor. This step involves creating your OpenAI API key (or copying your existing key) and pairing it with the Topol API Token. Here is how to do that:
1. Generate your OpenAI API Key
Visit the OpenAI Platform, log in, and generate an API Key:

All AI-powered features in the Topol Plugin editor will use your personal OpenAI token and be billed to you at the current OpenAI pricing. We do not monitor or control your token usage; we only provide features that utilize them within the editor.
2. Register your OpenAI API Key with the Plugin API Token
Visit your Topol account and select the Plugin menu in the left navigation panel (1). Find your Plugin API Token, which lists the domains where AI features should be enabled. Click the "Edit your settings" under the OpenAI Text Assistant label (2).
This will open a modal window where you paste your OpenAI API Key:
Keep in mind that if you have multiple Plugin API Tokens and you want the AI features enabled for each, you must place the OpenAI key for each separately by repeating step 2.
