Enhance your template creation experience with the AI Chat feature

At Topol, we are constantly seeking ways to make email template creation faster, easier, and more efficient. With the AI Chat feature, we are elevating productivity by integrating an intelligent assistant that helps you generate, refine, and optimize your email content in a matter of seconds.

What is AI Chat?

If you ever find yourself short on ideas while creating your template, uncertain about the best phrase to use, or needing some help with grammar, don't worry! Our integrated Chat AI tool can assist you with all of these, along with many other tasks.

The ChatAI tool is fully integrated, configured, and ready for use within your Topol PRO interface. To open the AI Chat window, simply click on the stars icon in the upper left corner of the template editor.

Upon clicking this button, a chat panel will open right below. Go ahead and try it out!

A glimpse behind the curtain

Before you start chatting, we'd like to explain how to use the AI's functional integration within our editor. Our integrated AI is fully context-aware, enabling it to analyze all the text you've used in your template so far and dynamically extract keywords. It does this before every question to remain updated with the current state of your template. It can then use these keywords to accurately predict the current topic of your email, the information you want to convey, or the audience you're targeting. Based on this information, it generates a custom-tailored answer.

This enables the AI tool to provide personalized, precise responses tailored specifically to the current template instead of broad, generic answers.

Chat AI in use

Let us demonstrate this with a simple example involving a pizza deal. Imagine that your template contains this section:

Once we open the Chat AI window, we can confirm that it fully understands the context of our template without any prior configuration. Please remember that our AI tool can extract keywords and context only from text, not any other form of content.

If you use an external AI tool, like ChatGPT (which our integrated chat also utilizes), you must provide it with a lot of initial context about your email for it to offer specific and useful information.

Our integrated Chat AI completely eliminates this barrier. It is always aware of the current context of your email and can access all its texts, so you do not need to provide this information before you ask any questions.

With this in mind, we can proceed directly with a task to make our email more engaging:

Additional Chat AI configuration

If you are not entirely satisfied with the accuracy or tone of the responses, you can adjust the Chat AI settings, which enable you to customize its behavior, context, and tone of replies.

To display these settings, click the cogwheel at the top left corner of the Chat AI window next to the close button.

You have three options for additional Chat AI configuration. These include:

  • Set the goal of the conversation - By sharing this information, you can assist the AI in predicting the purpose of your email more accurately if it is not evident from the existing text. This can be particularly beneficial if your current template includes minimal or no contextual information, which may lead the AI to generate inaccurate responses.

  • Set voice tone - If you are targeting your email to specific demographics (such as kids, the elderly, or professionals in particular fields) or want to use specific vocabulary, it may be beneficial to set the voice tone. This will adjust the suggestions to incorporate the requested vocabulary and modify the overall tone of your email to ensure it is more engaging for your intended audience.

  • Use keywords generated from your template as context - Adjusting this setting can enable or disable the AI's ability to extract context from your email. If you turn off this setting, you will need to provide the email's context to the AI tool before it can generate accurate responses. While this may make the chat more time-consuming, it also gives you greater control over the responses.

Utilizing the Chat AI feature is quite simple and direct, so we encourage you to use it frequently. Even if you know exactly how to build your template, it might be worth taking a moment to quickly consult your intentions with AI. It may understand your intentions better than you realize!
